I was born in Lebanon, Tennessee but consider myself to have grown up in Jackson, Tennessee. I was selected to the Jackson/Madison County Sports Hall of Fame for my high school baseball accomplishments. I attended the University of Kansas on a baseball scholarship and was a member of the 1993 CWS team for the Jayhawks. After graduating college, I moved back to Tennessee and eventually started my insurance career. After three years, I joined State Farm and moved to Indiana. After building a successful scratch agency (started an office with zero customers) in Carmel, outside of Indianapolis, I moved back to Tennessee to be an agent in Kingston TN since my wife and I were due with our second child and wanted our children to grow up near their grandparents on both sides who lived near Knoxville.

My agency in Kingston has achieved recognition such as Honor Agent, Ambassador Club, Chairman Circle and President's Club by providing the insurance coverage needs of others with the personal service of an experienced team. We have grown to sell and service State Farm products in the great states of Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Kentucky.
